Inkifi is proud to be supporting Trees for Cities in their part of creating the Ripple Greenway in Barking and Dagenham. The Ripple Greenway is a new 1.3km (0.8 miles) walking and cycling route within a linear park, connecting communities with green spaces in Thames Ward. Trees for Cities is complementing the path and natural play areas with a combination of spaced large standard trees and woodland creation.
Ripple Greenway will connect the wider community to nature and surrounding destinations, by providing a link from Barking town centre and Thames View Junior School, to the Thames Path and Ripple Nature Reserve. It will also be a vital link for current and future communities to access mainstream public transport.
Inkifi and Trees for Cities are pleased to be working together on this project that will form an important part of this new woodland.
